Cani Chen is a Taiwanese Illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer living with her husband and two children who love picture books as much as she does. Her portfolio includes everything from children's books and crafts to packaging and branding illustration.

Cani was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She has a Master Degree of Visual Communication at National Chiao Tung University and a degree of English Literature. After studying, Cani worked as designer/ illustrator for design houses and a publisher before beginning to freelance full time.
肯妮本名陳盈蓁，畢業於交大外文系及交大應用藝術研究所，出生於台北，現居新竹，曾任平面設計師與網頁設計師，現為自由插畫工作者、繪本創作者、講師。喜歡動物、兒童、手工藝。創作題材多從兒時回憶出發，並善於將親子間的互動和日常生活的觀察融入孩童般的視角，創造撲拙的趣味。作品散見於商業插畫，包裝設計及兒童繪本。並屢獲歐美雜誌Love Patchwork & Quilting, Flow Magazine及Print & Pattern網站刊載。系列繪本由英國Little Tiger Press 2021年出版，並有法文譯本。

Cani邏輯思維很清楚，可以很快的抓到我想要的感覺設計。
常常對老師說：「我喜歡那個感覺？！」
對！「那個感覺」就是我想要的，可是我無法形容出來；但老師可以很清楚的引導我說出「那個感覺」。這讓我覺得蠻厲害的。
